Blake Griffin Adds a $6 Million Brentwood Home to His Collection

How many multimillion-dollar Brentwood houses is too many? Asking for Blake Griffin, who recently dropped around $5.9 million on a property in the upscale Los Angeles neighborhood, mere months after snapping up an even bigger home in the area for $19.1 million.

The newest addition to Griffin’s West Coast portfolio—which continues to grow despite his 2018 trade from the L.A. Clippers to the Detroit Pistons—is a 5,900-square-foot, half-acre property with five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms, Variety reports. The two-story home, surrounded by tall hedges and a gate for privacy, was originally built in 1936 but recently renovated.

The interior includes living, dining, and game rooms outfitted with dark hardwood floors and cream-colored walls throughout, a roomy raised kitchen, and a white-tiled family room with French doors leading out to the lush backyard, saltwater swimming pool, and plenty of outdoor entertaining space. The main suite features a grand total of three walk-in closets, plus a bathroom with a glass-walled walk-in shower and large soaking tub.

Interestingly, though the house is situated right behind Griffin’s previous Brentwood purchase, it’s not directly accessible from the larger property, which is located within a gated and guarded community. That sprawling farmhouse-style home covers 10,000 square feet, with an adjacent two-story detached guesthouse and an infinity pool with inset spa. Griffin reportedly purchased the new build in an off-the-market deal for a little under $20 million in April.
